Tahlia Edgar-Chalker is a New York–based video producer and filmmaker whose work spans documentary, journalism, social video, and advocacy storytelling. She is particularly interested in stories that use individual experiences to illuminate larger social, political, and cultural issues.

She currently works as a Producer at the Human Rights Foundation, where she leads video projects across international events, digital series, podcasts, and social media campaigns. She works closely with activists, dissidents, and journalists to tell stories about democracy movements, authoritarianism, and human rights worldwide. Her work includes story development, production, filming, editing, and distribution.

Tahlia graduated cum laude from Tulane University with degrees in Digital Media Production and International Development. While at Tulane, she produced and directed award-winning short films exploring the role of storytelling in driving social awareness and change.

Her films and campaigns have received recognition from the Anthem Awards, New York Movie Awards, and IndieX Film Fest. Videos she has produced have also been featured in United Nations communications and used by organizations and advocates around the world in support of human rights initiatives.

Across her work, Tahlia is drawn to stories that help audiences better understand people, places, and issues they might not otherwise encounter, and to the ways film can deepen empathy, curiosity, and public engagement.
